Today in Leonida
Updated November 2, 2026
One page, checked every morning: what GTA 6 players need today. Right now that means launch-season checks. After launch, this page becomes the daily check-in — collectibles, completion progress and, when GTA 6 Online arrives, its daily and weekly rotations.
Today: November 2, 2026 · 17 days to launch · 10 days to preload
Today's checks
- Launch day
- Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Official
- Preload opens
- November 12, 2026, for digital copies. Official
- Unlock time
- Not announced by Rockstar yet. Do not plan your evening around an assumed hour — this page will carry the official times when they are confirmed. Release date & unlock times
- File size
- Not officially announced. Estimates put it around 150–200 GB; clear about 250 GB to be safe. A reported PlayStation Store-backend figure of about 210 GB is circulating, but it is not official. File size guide
- Price
- $79.99 Standard / $99.99 Ultimate, reported US prices. Buying before November 20 is reported to include the free Vintage Vice City Pack. Reported Preorder comparison
Do this today
- Free up storage now, not in preload week. A standard PS5 or Xbox Series X has roughly 667 GB usable; Xbox Series S has about 364 GB, so Series S owners are the tight squeeze. How to make room
- Decide digital or physical. Only digital copies preload on November 12. Physical copies are reported to be a code in a box, with a large install still to download.
- Work the launch checklist. Console updates, controller charged, first session planned — launch-day checklist.
- Tour Leonida before you play it. The six regions Rockstar has shown, from Vice City to Mount Kalaga — Leonida guide.
Coming to this page after launch
Nothing here is invented before the game exists. These sections go live only with real, checked information:
- Collectibles & 100% tracker — layered onto the interactive map as locations are confirmed, with progress saved in your browser. The tracker shell is already on our trackers page.
- First-hours money guide — Rockstar has said story missions alone will not pay enough to progress, so the first-hours economy guide lands on launch day, November 19.
- GTA 6 Online daily & weekly rotations — the Gun Van-style daily question, answered here every morning once Online's rotating features are known.
Bookmark this page. That is the whole idea: one daily check, not a new search every morning.
