How big is the GTA 6 map?

Rockstar says Leonida is about twice the size of GTA 5's map and its biggest world ever. It has not given an exact size in square miles.

Fan estimates come from people measuring trailer footage, so treat them as rough. The official "about twice" is the number to trust until the game is out.
Regions of Leonida
Leonida is Rockstar's take on Florida. These areas have been shown in trailers and on Rockstar's site:
- Vice City
The neon city based on Miami, with beaches, nightlife and the port.
- Leonida Keys
A chain of islands to the south, like the Florida Keys.
- Grassrivers
Swamps and wetlands inspired by the Everglades, full of wildlife.
- Port Gellhorn
A run-down beach town on the coast.
- Ambrosia
A farming and industrial area with a big sugar refinery.
- Mount Kalaga National Park
Forests, trails and outdoor activities in the north.
